Nero di Troia grapes. A deep ruby red with marked purple glints, wine, Intense, full and fragrant bouquet, with notes of raspberries and blueberries. Believed to have been brought to Puglia by Greek colonists.
The name is a reference to either the town of Troia or the legendary hero Diomedes, who is said to have founded several towns in Italy after the fall of Troy.
